The Allen-Bradley® Compact 5000™ Safety I/O can be integrated with the next-generation high performance Allen-Bradley® Compact GuardLogix® 5380 controller to deliver a scalable, in-rack, high performance safety solution. It can also be used on a distributed I/O platform with the use of an Allen-Bradley® 5069 Compact I/O™ EtherNet/IP adapter.
The new Allen-Bradley® Flex 5000™ I/O also provides a reliable and flexible distributed I/O solution to meet operational needs. Featuring 1GB EtherNet/IP connectivity for higher speed and increased bandwidth, it offers flexibility through multiple network architectures, topology options and a wide range of standard and safety I/O modules. It is available in both standard and conformally coated versions for installation in extreme environments and hazardous areas.
Rounding off the solution, the Allen-Bradley® ControlLogix Safety I/O modules provide local safety I/O for the GuardLogix® 5580 controllers in larger applications that require a high-density I/O solution. Using these in-chassis modules simplifies configuration and reduces panel space by eliminating the need for an adapter. These modules can also be used for distributed safety I/O.
